more fun with Maya

I have been posting a lot on the blog in the last couple days so make sure you scroll down to see all the pictures. Here is a picture of Maya in her new high chair. She loves it and feels like a big girl. We are excited that she can finally somewhat sit in her high chair so she isn't pawing at everything that we eat.
Josiah, Dana, Todd, Chelsea, Matt and myself all went for a walk with the kids yesterday. We strapped the kids on and went walking through the woods. This picture is by a fort of snow that Josiah made but I missed the fort. It is pretty cool!!! The kids Maxx and Maya both loved the walk and fell asleep both strapped to there daddy's. It felt great to get out and explore and know that she does fine in situations like that.
The top picture is on the changing table. Maya has just started putting her feet in her mouth and I was trying to get a shot of it. As usual when the camera comes out she is only interested in that!! I thought it was a cute shot. Hope all is well!!!

Teething

Well Maya is teething. Linda said Josiah got his first tooth at three months, so we are thinking she is taking after him. I didn't have teeth until I was one so lets hope we don't have to go through this stage for a full year!! She is a trooper so far. She is uncomfortable and will get crabby for no reason but she is still smiling! She reminds me of my nephew Ryan. When Ryan was her age he could not wait to eat and neither can she. Stephanie had to put a bib on him because he drooled so much and we are having to do the same with Maya. She will be so happy when I can feed her some real food!! She is growing like a weed and is over 16lbs now. We had to buy her a new car seat. She loves it and you can see in the picture she feels like a big girl! I cried when we put her in it because time seems to be going by so quickly. It is wonderful to see her grow and discover but sad that she already isn't a baby anymore. I guess this is why women have more then one child.

You also see in the above picture that I bought Maya her first pair of sunglasses. Because of her red hair and white complexion her eyes are super sensitive. However, I can't get them to stay on her. Does anyone have any hints?

In Love

Maya has had the opportunity to meet her future husband!!! Well not really but you never know. Our friends Maxx and Dana are visiting and Maya LOVES Maxx!! It is fun to watch them talk to each other and discover each other. Maya gets frustrated because Maxx is crawling and she wants to keep up and move. We are having loads of fun and more cute pictures will be posted soon. Maybe even today!!

Having fun with friends

Maya with her friend Maxx he is almost 7 months
You will have to forgive me for not posting. Our friends Dana and Maxx are visiting for four weeks and we have been having too much fun!!!
We had Maya's three month old pictures taken and here is one of the many poses. I will put the rest of the poses up after I mail out the other poses to people!!
Maya is now 16lbs and really long. I haven't measured her but she is growing out of her infant car seat and we need to change to a convertible one!
Maya loves her friend Maxx and wants to touch and kiss him!!! I told Josiah he better get his shot gun ready. At least she has good taste because Maxx is an amazing little boy.
I will be visiting WI in March with Maya and can't wait to see as many of you as possible!!!

Our giggler

Maya is giggling. Not all the time but once in a while. It is so cute!! We are doing well I hope you all are too!
