Were does the time go? We have been keeping busy too busy to blog! We also have been sick with colds, thank goodness no flu.
Lindsey is doing so well she is now 13 months and is running after her big sister. She can now make sounds that resemble words. She says cracker, cookie, kitty, car, cow (she really likes her C words), burr, maya, momma, dadda, brush. She is getting the beginning of each word. Her language is starting to explode just in the last week. She is of course still climbing on everything. She loves to crawl up on the kitchen chairs and climb onto the table. We do not like her doing this because of her falling off. Now all of our chairs are tipped over onto the ground so she can't climb up them. She loves people and is our social bug. She is not scared of anyone (yet) and really likes other children. Her and big sister are starting to play together more. This is nice because it gives me a little break. Don't let them fool you we have more fights then them being nice to one another.
Maya is turning into such a good helper and a good girl. Her vocabulary always is astonishing. We really need to watch our language. She doesn't see why she can't use the words we are using, because she is a big girl now. She also loves music, she particularly likes the little people cds. She will sit and listen to the whole cd without making a sound. The next time we listen to it she will sing the parts she memorized. She has her daddy's brain and memory! She is still in love with her little friend Seth that lives in Abby. We get to see him a lot and they play so well together. She also has not stopped talking about her friend Tulsi that came to visit and can't wait to see her again. Maya recently got her very own big girl bed. She had her own bed before but it was attached to our bed. This new princess bed (of course) is now in the same room but not attached to momma and daddy! She loves it and is doing great. Maya turns 3 on Nov 3 and she is so excited about it! It is her golden birthday!!! Any party ideas?
