Is spring every coming?

We have had a few really nice days here so we have been outside as much as possible. Maya is almost a year and a half and is doing so well. We bought her her first sandbox! She loves it and enjoys hours of play in the box. It is nice that I can sit on the deck with some ice tea and a book while she plays in the sand. She is also old enough to climb on all the play sets that are at the parks. We have wonderful parks around here and we visit them often. She loves going down the biggest slide she can find. When it has been raining or snowing we try and keep ourselves busy in the house. One day we decided to paint our two nails together! She loved it and did a great job keeping her toes flat to dry! She also loves play do and markers. She has a new obsession with the movie Enchanted. We rented it from Netflix and popped it in to watch, she sat for the first 1/2 without moving. She loves the songs and we got her on tape singing one of them!
Josiah has been working a lot so he has been away a lot. Maya and I miss him and are excited to get this business up and rolling so we have Daddy at least in the same town so we can visit him. It will also end most of his driving to Wausau and that will help him, that drive gets long after a while.
Baby is doing great I have my next check up tomorrow. This will be the last check up with my midwife and then I have to try the Dr. because she is leaving the practice. That makes me a bit sad but we will be fine. The baby is moving around a lot and soon Josiah and Maya should be able to feel it kicking around.
Everyone is doing great here and can't wait for constant warm weather, so until next time stay warm if you are in WI!!

I am still here

HI everyone,

It has been a while and I wanted to let you all know we are here and fine. A lot has been happening in our family. First we had our ultrasound and of course the baby would not cooperate and we could not find out the sex. Good news is that the baby is healthy and active and everything looks great!! We will not have another ultrasound so this baby will be a surprise just like Maya!

Maya has hit her terrible two stage early and we are having to struggle with discipline and naughty chairs. Her favorite naughty thing to do right now is to hit her Great Grandpa. We really can not figure out why this happens because he is such a nice man but for some reason she likes to hit him. So she goes in the naughty chair a lot for that. On the nice side of Maya she is growing so much and learning new words. She knows all her colors it is her favorite play time activity. We draw rainbows and ask what color things are, she loves it! She also loves to sort colors on her block sorter. We are learning our numbers and letters, Josiah is cute with this he will sit with her and draw two letters, then he asks her "Maya which letter is the E?" She will point to the right letter most of the time. She loves to try and count things she has the one and the three down but we are still missing the two! Funny story with markers, one day Josiah was in the shower and I had to run upstairs, I told Maya "Daddy is in the shower if you need him go get him" we do this a lot and she always will come and get us if she needs us. Well she did need Daddy, so she walked into the bathroom and said "Daddy green belly!" She had taken a green marker and wrote all over her belly! It was so funny, thank goodness it was washable. As you can imagine she is not allowed alone with markers anymore. I have some darling pictures of that latest oops, I am on the wrong computer tonight so I will post them in another blog.

Josiah and I are looking into finally opening our yoga studio!!! We actually found a wonderful space right in Colby. At first we were a little leery about opening in such a small community, but the more time we spend here as adults the more people we find interested in classes. Josiah now teaches for the community center and he will have anywhere from 10 to 20 people signed up for every class. We also have some chiropractors that will refer to Josiah for his massage and I am going to learn Reiki! My mother and I are going to Green Bay this weekend to learn Reiki, it is the Japanese form of relaxation! We are both excited about it. We have also discovered that in this area people are feed up with having to drive 30 to 50 min away to get anything for themselves. So we are excited about this and hope to open in June if everything goes to our plan!
Wow that is a lot of information!!! I hope you are all doing well, we are praying for spring to come FAST!

Here are pictures from our photo shoot we did in March!! I am finally on the right computer to post them, I hope you enjoy!! They are raw photos so they have not been touched by our graphic designer yet. He has them and should have an amazing catalog to us soon!!
