Cousin Fun

OK I am going to try and catch up on my blogging. I have now started a mommy blog for our mommy group www.mommy-to-mommy.blogspot.com it is taking up some of my blogging time. Enough excuses lets get to the kids. Maya is doing well she is really becoming an independent little girl. Our play dates have been helping her and now she will leave my side to go play with kids she has never met before. I don't know if this is good or bad because I really have to keep my eye on her! Maya continues to tell stories and wants us to tell her stories and play pretend. In my next blog I will post a video of her telling a story to her friend Tulsi. Maya had such a fun time this Easter. The whole family was together to celebrate Easter and my 30th birthday. We put together and Easter egg hunt that the kids had a blast with. Maya loves her cousins and I am still hearing about how she can't wait to see them again. Then my cousins came over with there girls and my Aunt came over with her girls so we have had a lot of cousin time and Maya loves every minute of it! I love it because it keeps her happy and busy and man is she tired when everyone goes home! Lindsey is now 8 months old and is changing so fast I can't keep up. In the span of two weeks she started pulling herself along the floor to full crawling to pulling up and starting to walk along the couch. She also cut two teeth and is working on more. She loves that she can get around and you can tell is proud of her self for all that she is accomplishing. We are now in the back breaking stage of her wanting us to walk her around by holding her hands. I will be thankful when this stage is over. She also is standing alone a couple seconds by herself! Spring is finally here and we bought our neighbors swing set. Maya has been having a ton of fun on it. It is older so we are going to paint it and I am in works with Mike to make the top into a castle!! I am hoping that we can get that done this summer but with them busy with their business and us with ours we will see! I hope to be posting again soon with more video and pics of my birthday! Love to everyone!

Easter Bunny and more!!!

We had a fun Saturday, we went to a Easter egg hunt for the kids. They had over 4,000 Easter eggs it was a blast. We met our friends Leatha and Cory and their two kids. Seth is about Maya's age and they are becoming fast friends, he is a really polite soft spoken little boy and we always have a good time with them. I thought Maya would hate the Easter bunny but it turned out she couldn't get enough of her! She kept asking where she was, she wanted to show the Easter bunny how many eggs she had found.
After our fun in the morning I didn't want to be home alone with the kids all day, so I called my sister and said, can you meet us in Stevens Point? It turned out she could, we went to a children's museum and out to eat. The Children's museum had great things for all ages, they had a art room, a castle, a stage, instruments, a grocery store and more. We spent over an hour and could have easily spent more time. It was great seeing my sister and it was so much fun for the kids. The kids are doing so much better with driving and I feel we are going to have a good time this summer going to see Aunts, Uncles and Cousins!
This weekend my whole family is coming to our house to celebrate Easter and my big birthday, it is my big 30! We should have a really good time!
Then we are taking a vacation to my brothers house, it will be our first weekend off in 4 or 5 months so we are looking forward to that, I am sure I will have lots of pics to share with you all!

March Madness

Hello everyone,
We have had a lot of company again scroll down to see pictures!
Lindsey is doing great she is growing and trying to crawl. She just turned 7 months yesterday. She has been hanging on to our hands and walking for some time now. She is trying to pull up on things which always makes me nervous. She still doesn't have teeth and I don't see any signs of teeth so we think she will be a late teether like her momma. She giggles all the time and we are impressed with her fine motor skills. She flips pages in books and tries to figure out how everything works. It helps that she gets to watch big sister do everything.
Maya is a wonderful big sister and loves to try and get Lindsey to crawl and talk. Lindsey is saying mama and Dada so Maya walks around saying ma ma Dada to try and get her to say them. Maya's language is getting even stronger, today she put her hat on to go outside and she said, " when I put this hat on it boils me like a pea!" Josiah and I almost died laughing. She is still our sensitive bug who gets hurt feelings easily, we have to watch what we say around her or she will be in tears. Even slow songs will make her cry, she is very much like me in that way. We joke that she is my sister reincarnated because she is so much like her it is scary!! Luckily my sister is an amazing person so if she grows up just like her I will be the happiest momma in the world!
Josiah is busy busy at the studio we barley see him. It is hard having him away so much but we all know it is worth it in the long run. He is working hard on writing his classes and once that is done things will move more smoothly. We are hiring our first massage therapist this month and are looking to take on another in October!
I am doing well waiting for spring to roll around, it is coming slowly. My friend and I started a mommies group and we had 10 mommies and their kids at my house on Saturday. It was a great success and I will be starting a blog for that group also! We had fun you will see some pictures!
I hope everyone has a great Easter and pray for SPRING!!!
