For Daddy

These pictures are for Maya's Daddy!!!! We are away from Josiah for almost three weeks. This is a bad time to be away in Maya's development because she is changing very rapidly. In the time since we have been home she has learned how to roll without a problem from back to tummy. She has also learned how to sit by herself, she still can't catch herself when she tumbles over but you don't need to support her for her to be able to sit on her own. She also is talking so much more and she is trying to scoot on the ground to get the kitty. Josiah you are going to be amazed when we get home! I have been trying to video tape everything so you don't miss anything. Also I think her teeth are going to come in really soon because she seems to be in a lot of pain at times. Here are just a few pictures from our trip so far. Maya and I miss you and can't wait to see you on the 9th. Hugs and tons of kisses from us both. I love you!

This Morning

This was this morning and Maya was sitting with Papa in the bathroom. We thought she was so cute sitting in her chair!! I think she is starting to look more like my side of the family. Don't get me wrong she still looks totally like Josiah but I am starting to see a little bit of me!! We leave for WI tomorrow, we can't wait. Wish us luck on the flight!!

Coming Home

Well, I have not had time to post the last week or so as Maya has been needy. Here are some recent pictures of Maya who is now 4 and 1/2 months old. She is still teething with none that have broke through. She is also rolling now like a champ and learning how to sit up. She hates laying down so I normally have to hold her in a seated position all day. Let's just say my back and had better times. I am still enjoying being with her and we are so excited about our trip home to WI!! We leave in three days and will be there for 17 days!!!!!! I can not wait!! Love you all!

4 Months Old

4 Months old, I can hardly believe it time is going so fast!! Tomorrow is Maya's 4 month old check up. I will let you all know how much she weighs after. I think around 16 or so lbs. Maya is getting so strong. We have really noticed a change in her the last week or so. She is trying to roll over and she loves to sit up. The picture with the green chair is designed to help develop her muscles that she uses to sit. It is fun to watch her in this seat as she wobbles around for a bit and then she can stabilize herself.

Maya also loves other children. Our friend Maxx has been visiting with us the last three weeks and she has totally fallen in love with him. The two pictures with the three kids are Tulsi who is a year old this month, Maxx who is seven months and Maya who is four months. They loved this Poo toy and had fun playing together. Sometimes I think hanging out with the older kids is frustrating to Maya as she wants to keep up and just can't yet. Like my mother said that is how our second baby will feel always trying to keep up with Maya. I do believe that she is developing faster because she has been around the older children and is watching how they are doing things!!

The top picture is of Maya and Josiah playing. She is finally old enough to have some fun interaction with Daddy!! He loves it. He got to watch Maya all day today as I was down with a killer migraine. Thank God for daddy's!!!

Big Contraption

Maya will be four months in two days!! I can hardly believe it. She is doing so well here she is in an exosaucer if you remember the pouty face picture that was her in this same contraption but about a month younger. No more pouting she is all about it. Her and Maxx switch off in the seat, Maxx can stand so he likes the outside! We don't have any teeth breaking through yet but she is really working on them. We are excited to come home in 20 days!!!!!!!!
