First baby pictures

Here are the first baby pictures of our newest member!! I had my first Dr. Appointment on Friday. At the Marshfield clinic it is routine that they take a ultra sound at your first visit. Not having this done with Maya Josiah and I were very excited. Maya was in the room with us and when the baby came on the screen she said baby! It was exciting for me because I am only 11 weeks along. I thought what we would see would not look human like yet. But to our surprise it looked just like a human so much even that we could count it fingers and it was opening up it's mouth. The baby was kicking and moving I couldn't believe how developed the baby was already. It truly is a miracle and I am glad I got to see the baby at such a young age. It automatically changed Josiah's thought process from having one child to two. We were discussing something after the appointment and he said to me well we have to think about things because we now have two kids instead of one! I hope you all enjoy the pictures they didn't turn out as well on the pics as they looked when we were there.

***If you click on the pictures they will blow up for you so you can see more detail***
The first picture the baby is looking up to the sky you can pick out the nose, eyes and mouth if you look close, the second picture we are looking at baby's back, third picture we are looking at baby open and close mouth
First picture baby is again looking to the ceiling and baby is really moving in the picture, second picture is the picture we could count all it's fingers!

11 weeks and 15 months

It has been a while since my last blog, life really gets busy sometimes! We are now 11 weeks pregnant and things are moving along really well. I am not as sick as I used to be and now can hold down pretty much all of my food!

We went on a trip to Iowa because Josiah's Grandmother past away. It was a blessing that she finally did pass and we where sad to see her go but also happy for her to be out of the pain. Our trip was short but really nice. We got to visit with all Josiah's cousins and friends, it was really nice to catch up. Most of them had not meet Maya so it was nice they could finally meet her. We did get stuck in a snow storm coming home which made things a little tricky and took longer but we all made it home safe and sound.

Maya is again getting taller by the day, she is now comfortably wearing 2T clothing and has grown out of everything else. She finally has broken all four of her mollars and we are all getting much better sleep. She did catch a cold but we are now at the down swing on that. I feel like this winter that is all we have been doing. Dealing with teeth or sickness, is everyone as sick of this winter as I am? I can't wait for it to be over!!

Maya is also oppsesed with Dora the Explorer. This morning she woke up and she likes to pick her clothes out (what a girl) so I let her go in her drawers and find what she would like to wear. She has this pair of Dora PJ's, it is a summer pj nightgown. She saw that nightgown and she was saying Dora, Dora she would not let me put anything else on her. So we have pants and a long sleeve shirt on with her Dora PJ's over it! It looks so funny, but she loves it!!

This is Josiah and Elias at Grandma's funeral, they are handsome!

Maya playing with her third cousin

The Groth Family minus Ayla and Josh, they couldn't make it.
