First Swim

This is the first time Maya has been swimming. We went with our friends Maureen, Tulsi, Matthew and Jason. I could not believe how much she loved the water. It was a little cold and it didn't phase her at all. She was kicking her legs and really swimming. I can't wait to get to Grandpa's new house and Aunt Mary's because they both have a pool!!

Maya is getting bigger by the day, she is walking while we hold her hands. She is making progress in the crawling department but not moving yet. She prefers walking but that didn't surprise Josiah or I! We will be taking a vacation to WI on June 3rd I can't wait to see you all!!

Boa Time

The family went to Scranton yesterday to celebrate Mother's Day. They took me out to Olive Garden because I can finally eat dairy again! On our way to Olive Garden we noticed that Hancock fabric was going out of business and everything in the store was 50-70% off!! We of course had to stop and we found some great fabrics for Seat For Your Soul that I am very excited about. While we were there Josiah found this blue boa and had to buy it for Maya. These are a few pictures of her and daddy playing with the boa! I hope everyone has a great Mother's Day! Mine was wonderful!

Party Anyone?

This is from the 5th of May but I thought they were cute pictures. I haven't had much time to blog because well, we have been really busy. This was our friends Blair birthday party! We had a lot of fun.

TWO TEETH!!!

We have two teeth! Maya cut her first two teeth two weeks ago! I was so excited about her tooth that I was dancing around the house. I don't know why I love the fact that she has teeth but I do! She has been a trooper with teething so far. We didn't even know her first tooth was coming until it broke through the skin. She is now pulling up to standing and wants to stand all the time. Her balance is getting better day by day. She also is saying Da Da when she sees Josiah. We don't know if she knows what it means but every time she sees him she says it. We get a charge out of it! She is also throwing herself onto her tummy to try and crawl. She almost has it but I think it will take another month or so to really get it! She talks non stop, she wakes up talking and goes to bed at night talking. It sometimes gives me a headache, but I love it! Hope everyone is well.

Hanging with some friends

Maya and I have been going to a group called Earthy Mamma's and also to a stretch and play class that Maureen is teaching down town. It creates some good photo ops and Maureen is the champ that always has her camera!!! The top picture is at a church in Honesdale by a lovely pink tree. The second two pictures are of Maya and Onna. Onna is one month older then Maya!! And of course the last pictures are if Tulsi and Maya chatting it up!! They love each other. They now get very excited to see one another!!!!
Big news Maya cut her first tooth!!! Way to go Maya, she is doing well and is now working on her second!
