It's been a long time

It has been a long time since my last post. Sorry Aunt Chic!! We have been BUSY with Back To Bliss. The new building is coming a long beautifully and we are almost done with the build out, thank goodness. It is hard to live in a mess for six months, but it is almost done! The biggest best news is that my salon is now OPEN for business and I am so excited to have that part of my life back! It is an Organic salon, we are using all organic products but the best part is our color has no AMMONIA! This is how I after thinking I could never return to my passion can now get back at it.
The girls are great, Lindsey is now TWO! I will post pictures of that probably next year! Maya will be four on Nov 3! They love playing together. We have had a busy summer and this means a lot of time spent at the studio, which = crabby children and parents. But for their ages they have handled everything amazing! Here are some pics of our excitement this summer. I did get a fancy new camera so I am still learning how to get great pics!

At the packer family fun night with our whole family! Sarah cheering her lungs off with Maya holding on to her. Maya love Sarah so much, she really looks up to her.

WOW let the dream begin

It has been painfully long since my last post. Let me apologize right now Aunt Chic. I hope you still check it!! I am going to post a lot of pictures and keep my talk short. Lindsey is nearly two and is talking in sentences. She also is jumping both feet off of everything. She comes up to us and says "watch" and holds up her little finger. She is the messiest kid I have every seen. She gets dirty just looking at a cookie! She has a big personality and cracks us up daily! So amazing she is.
Then there is my Maya. She is 3.5 going on 7 and loves to talk and dance and sing. She is kind to her sister and loves to make friends where ever we go. Also Maya had her first dance recital. It was amazing I cried like a baby. She took over that stage and danced her heart out. I hope she keeps it up!
Back To Bliss is getting a new building that is 6,000 square feet. We started build out this month and it is keeping us so busy. The girls have been great going over to the "new studio" and helping with things. We have now found an amazing babysitter. Maya loves her and can't wait to play with Beth. It makes me feel better knowing that they can play while we work.
Enough talk, Back to Bliss opens July 1st in our new location, build out won't be quit done but shortly after. http://www.backtoblisswellness.com/. I have to say the reason I don't post as much anymore is I find I am addicted to Facebook! I really want this for my girls in the future so I must keep it up! Enjoy the pics and the summer love to you all.

Well it has been to long again. I think this is my first post for the new year! The business has been booming and that is why it has taken me so long to post. Oh and the fact that I have a one year old and a three year old! Maya and Lindsey are both doing great. We are waiting and hoping for spring to come soon but until then we have been keeping busy.
Maya is picking up her letters better each day. She is now starting to write words. She loves to write her name and the word no. She also will try and read the words by sounding them out! We are debating on putting her in preschool this next year. We have her in dance class one day a week. She loves this class and looks forward to it every week. She has her first recital in May and she can't wait. We have thought about starting her on some sort of instrument, maybe violin, I think her fingers are not big enough for piano yet. If we decide to do that we will probably keep her out of preschool. We have heard that the preschool hear does not focus as much on academic as social. I can work with her at home on the academic and we have a lot of social engagements every week so we will see.
Lindsey is growing so much and talking so much. She is now trying to clear up the words that she already knows. Her motor skills amaze me. She is opening things and closing things now that Maya can't even do! She is such a funny little girl and makes us laugh everyday! We can't wait until she gets her full voice. She also has a temper and has already started throwing things and tantrums. She will be my child who lays down in the middle of a store and screams bloody murder. I just can't wait for that day.
We are all doing great here, we had a busy couple months with my sisters surgery, some sickness and the business. Here are some pictures, enjoy!

Maya playing with her friend Olivia, they are the same age and love being girls together.
Lindsey learning how to get in the bath tub all by herself, she also has to get herself dressed every morning or we have a melt down.
These are for my friend Maureen, Maya took the next two pictures all by herself. She loves taking pictures and she is pretty good at it!
