Things are looking UP

Since last time I blogged things have been looking better. I have changed my diet so I am no longer eating any dairy products. This pretty much nipped the colic in the butt but we were still having some issues. We then cut out everything except a few staples and now have found out she is sensitive to Wheat. She actually may be sensitive to wheat and not dairy so we will find out in a couple days. I am not pushing it because I want my sweat, sensitive Lindsey to stay and keep the crying Lindsey away. Because Lindsey has been doing better Maya and I have been able to go to parks and friends houses and actually enjoy ourselves! It has been heaven for me just to get out of the house.

We had Lindsey's one month check up she is now 23 1/2 inches long and weighs almost 10lbs! She grew from 19 inches to 23 in one month!! No wonder she is cranky. She is looking around and tracking things, the Dr. was really impressed at her muscle tone. She can already control her head and she is pushing her legs into us to get were she wants to go!

Big sister Maya is doing well also, she is still having a hard time sharing Mommy, but it is getting better. We found a flower remedy that is helping her a lot!! She is a constant amazement to Josiah and I. She is now asking us why she can't do things. It still catches me off guard sometimes. She also has a memory that is spectacular, we had a friend that recently had surgery, I was telling Maya that we were going to see Korliss tomorrow and that she has an owee and we should make her some sand art. She said she would like to make Korliss a heart and I said great we will make that tomorrow. The next day I said we are going to see Korliss and she said we can't go yet she needed to make her heart for Korliss!! So we made the heart and she was so proud to give it to her! I love that I can do arts and crafts with her, I just wish I had more time now. My friend Leatha told me about this magazine called Family Fun, it is great and has a whole bunch of great ideas for crafting with your kids!!

Lindsey is staying awake more and more! She loves to look around and see what her big sister is doing.

Maya is such a good big sister, she looks out for Lindsey all the time. In the past couple of days we have noticed that she is now getting used to having Lindsey being in our family and is forgetting what it used to be like.

This is my cousin Amy's oldest girl Brittany she loved holding Lindsey and she is good at it!
This is our new friend Seth he is my friend Leatha's oldest son, she also just had a baby named Roland. It works great because the big kids play together and soon the little ones will too!

Great Grandpa just celebrated his 81st birthday! We had to get him a cake and celebrate! He didn't want to but we made him!!
