Food, Food and more Food

I was downloading the pictures off our camera and noticed that all of the pictures Maya was eating something. So I had to blog them all!! She loves food and as you can tell gets messy eating. She is growing like a weed and is walking all around by herself now!

Doggy and music; life is Great

Here is a video of Maya at a music festival. She loved this dog and has loved every poodle we have seen, so I am guessing that if we have a dog it will be a poodle. I hope everyone is enjoying the videos.

Maya Walking

Our little girl is walking!!! Can you believe how fast she is growing. Here are some of her steps on video. Maya has been walking since the beginning of the month and now is starting to get really sure of herself. She is letting go of things and taking off. We have been trying to teach Maya sign language, she has really improved the last two weeks. She can sign dog, frog, all done, more, daddy, sleep, cow, tree and her favorite is bath. Daddy, Sleep and cow all look about the same just because they all happen on the same part of the head. I hope to get these on video soon and share them with you!!

Cook out fun with the Cassidy's

Maureen, Jon, Tulsi and the Groth Family decided to have a cook out by the pound the other night. We had a great time and it was Maya's first cook out on a camp fire! Maureen got some great shots and I wanted to share them with you. As you all know Josiah and I are getting ready for our big move back to WI. I am getting excited about moving back to family and friends but I am torn apart having to leave Maureen and Tulsi. It is like leaving my sister so it makes me very sad. It has been CRAZY busy getting ready for the move so if the blog slows down it is because I am packing, but keep checking I will keep it going.

Maya's First Bump

Maya took her first bump. She was walking and fell into the corner of the toy box. She cried and I almost cried because it could have hurt her eye. She didn't bruise thanks to Arnica and Calendulla! I had to take a picture of it.
My parents and sister came to visit we had a blast!! I only took one picture the whole time and here it is. Maya and Grandma reading. I took a lot of video!!

It's a celebration

Sorry there has not been posts the last week. Our intenet has been down. A lot has been going on here. Maya is walking!!!!! She lets go of things and takes 8 to 10 steps and then sits down. She sometimes will grab her balance and keep going. It has been great to watch.
A couple weeks ago we had a celebration here on campus. We dressed Maya up in her cute Indian outfit that some friends got us when Maya was born. She was so cute and she LOVED the bracelet and anklet. She is a girly girl, I am so excited about that. Her and Josiah play dress up and put necklaces and sunglasses on! She loves it.
My mom, dad and sister all came for a visit. I will post some pictures of that later. I wanted to get this up!
