39 Weeks

We had another check up today, babies heart is 140 and strong and my blood pressure is normal and healthy. Couldn't ask for more at this point. My Dr. is on call on Thursday so everyone pray that I go into labor on Wednesday! I guess that would be tomorrow, I guess the chances of that are pretty slim. We are hoping that I do not go into labor until next week. We had our open house for Aug at Back To Bliss this last weekend and now this week we are almost completely booked!! It would be a shame if we had to cancel any of the appointments. I told Josiah that I would not allow him to cancel appointments only Yoga class. Who knows when I actually go into labor but I will have my Mom here and my sister so I think it will be fine for him to be away for a little while if he has to be. The last couple weeks of any women's pregnancy sucks, I hate the waiting game. I am such a planner and to not be able to plan this is a good lesson in patience for me.
The rest of the family is doing really well, Maya keeps asking when her brother or sister is coming out of Mommy's belly. She thought today that when we went to the Dr we would come home with a baby. I will keep everyone informed and will let you know as soon as we can when baby arrives!!

Suckers are Maya's favorite!!!!

Almost there

I have been having a lot of pelvic pain and discomfort so I was really excited to have a Dr. appointment today to find out how things are going. I never had this discomfort with Maya so I wanted to be sure everything was OK. We found out that I am 2 centimeters dilated and 50% effaced. This is a big step for me because with Maya I went into labor and wasn't dilated or effaced so it took forever! I have been contracting regularly and the Dr said he thinks it will be soon. With that said I am not getting my hopes up to high because women can walk around like this forever, however, I hope it is not true in my case because it is painful to walk. Thank goodness I have a massage therapist as a husband so he can work on my muscles and get them to relax!
My sister will be joining us for the labor and delivery and she is excited. She told me today she has her bag packed and is ready to come. It means a lot her being able to be with us. The three of us have been through a lot together so it just seems right that she will be at the birth of this baby.
Maya is growing so much and becoming so independent. She is talking circles around all of us. Her favorite thing right now is barbies, barbie movies, princesses, and fairytale. She also loves singing nursery rhymes. She sometimes knows them better then I do. The transition for her so far has goon OK she knows that Mommy can't pick her up because of the baby and that the baby will be coming soon. It helps having Grandma and Beep Beep Grandpa around to help with holding and lifting and they will be essential when the new baby comes. We really feel blessed that we are in the living situation we are in right now to have some extra hands.
I will try and keep everyone updated a little better, but I am not promising!
I have posted some pics and video below of the last month. Oh to my Aunt Chic, the word art is amazing and worked so well! It is beautiful in our studio, I will try and post a pic so you can see it. We will be ordering more!! Love you!
