We have survived the first month!!!! We are finally getting into some routine thank goodness. I cut out milk from my diet, that has helped with Lindsey's colic, we still have bad days but for the most part it is better. She is just a lot more demanding then Maya ever was, when she is hungry she is hungry now and you better have her to the food or she screams. She also hates wet diapers and will scream and scream until you get it off. She is doing really well at night and I am only having to get up once a night. When Lindsey isn't having stomach issues she is really alert and wants to see things and learn things.
Maya is doing good, she has had a hard time with the new adjustment. She loves her sister and loves to show her to people. She is having a problem with Mommy not being able to spend as much time with her and to play with her. Day by day this is getting easier but will take some time. It helps so much that she has Grandma and Grandpa here to help and to take her places. These little trips make her feel special and she really looks forward to them. If it wasn't for my mom and dad I don't know how I would be getting anything done!! It always seems that God puts us in the right place at the right time. Maya's new favorite game is to find letters, we have all the letters on the refrigerator and I will ask her Maya go find me an A, she will go look for it and then run back with the A! This is a life saving game when I am nursing Lindsey! Tonight we went to the grocery store and she said to me Mommy I see a M. I said you see a M and she said yeah right there. Here she saw the sign that said County Market and she recognized the M, I was really excited that she is applying her knowledge outside our house and is actually understanding what her letters are!
